An Atlanta, Georgia native, Eric was born with a spirit of adventure and a love of travel and sports, as well as a desire and determination to succeed in business. He had always wanted a life that was more than just OK and he was not content with the status quo. At 21 years old, Eric began to follow the road to finding his heart’s desire. His journey began while he was employed at United Parcel Service for 13 years. There, he believes, the foundational principles and methods taught by his former employer, the power house in the transportation industry, helped him pave the way to where he is today. Eric also had a desire to take his other passions a step further. Following his love of sports, he entered the sports industry in 1993 and achieved rapid success as a sports announcer, quickly moving onto the professional staff of the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons and with the media at the 1996 Olympic Games, but his desire to see the world remained strong. After traveling to West Africa and living in Paris for a year in 2001, a Brazilian lady captured his heart and after moving to Brazil, they were later married.
Although he had come a long way toward achieving his life’s goals since his days at UPS, a change lay in store for Eric that would challenge his record of success and lead him to call on all of his internal resources, drive and determination in order to continue to live his dream. A failed business venture in Brazil left him financially with his back against the wall and threatened his marriage. Eric needed to find an opportunity that would let him earn significant amounts of money from his home in Brazil in order to be able to stay in the country with his wife.
His search ended when he found an internet based opportunity in the travel industry that paid $1000 commissions with full support and training. The training was important for him since he had never had any previous marketing experience. This business opened a door of hope and prosperity which would change his life forever. And it was a perfect fit for Eric’s interests and abilities; not only did it allow him the ability to run a successful business from anywhere in the world, he also became internationally recognized as a role model who had made it happen from a 3rd world country, living the American dream of running his business from a tropical paradise, such as Brazil. He has often said if I can be a success from here, anyone can.
Four years later he has earned over $500,000 and developed one of the most dynamic and supportive networks in the CSG.
